The 8-month Monthly Data Collection Exercise for the IGC, in collaboration with California University, Pennsylvania University, and KDI, was a testament to BEMAC's commitment to long-term, rigorous research. Over this extended period, we systematically gathered high-frequency data, providing a dynamic and real-time perspective on economic trends and retail business performance in Lusaka. This project required consistent effort and attention to detail, ensuring the data collected was both accurate and timely. Our findings offered valuable insights for policymakers and researchers, contributing to a deeper understanding of the economic pulse of Lusaka’s retail sector.
